Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper commented in its editorial on relations between the Kingdom and Iraq, saying the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council's establishment announced yesterday represents a true embodiment of Arab-Arab cooperation in all its components and the common interests for the benefit of the two countries, noting that the Kingdom and Iraq possess natural, human and geographic capabilities that support their approaches towards an effective partnership at regional and international arenas whether at political, economic or developmental levels. The paper pointed out that the Kingdom and Iraq have the factors to develop their relations and expand them to the maximum extent of mutual interests which strengthens the Arab-Arab consensus. Al-Yaum newspaper commented on the United Nations, saying that when the Kingdom demands the United Nations to verify the accuracy of its information, it asks this international organization to check the facts on the ground in the war in Yemen, pointing out that it is not true that the coalition is responsible for killing children at a time when it seeks to restore Yemeni elected legitimacy from the clutches of Houthi terrorist coup militias.
