Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Dr. Saeb Euraiqat highly appreciated the stance taken by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the Palestinian question, during the latest Arab Summit session, held in Dhahran, notably the provision in Dhahran Declaration asserting invalidation and illegitimacy of US decision to recognize Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of Israel to relocate the embassy to the city, confirming that the envisaged and viable State of Palestine shall be established within 1967 borders, with Al-Quds (Eastern Jerusalem) as its capital. During a press conference held here today, Euraiqat reaffirmed that the latest Arab Summit has explained to the whole world, what is the right international position and what is the content of the international legitimacy, and that perhaps what have to be done, for the time being, by the decision makers, in Washington DC, is to understand the genuine percept of international law, which has established a legal personality for a Palestinian State with an observer status, in the UN.
