The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia concluded its participation in the Seventh Meeting of International Organizations and the Group of Experts on Indicators of Sustainable Development Goals, hosted by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) from 9 to 13 April. The meeting aimed at reviewing the classifications of sustainable development objectives, discussing the implementation of the guidelines on data flows, developing a document on best practices in global data, and reviewing a number of proposals for additional indicators of sustainable development. President of the General Authority for Statistics Fahd bin Sulaiman Al-Tokhaify, the head of the participating delegation in the meetings, affirmed that the Kingdom has been one of the countries that made significant progress in achieving the goals of sustainable development.
