President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron received at the Elysee Palace today His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and the President of France chaired the meeting of the Saudi-French Strategic Partnership Council in the presence of the delegations of the two countries. The Crown Prince conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to the president who sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The meeting reviewed the Saudi-French relations, the strategic partnership and further development of bilateral cooperation in various fields. They also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the efforts exerted for the security and stability of the region. Then, a cooperation agreement was signed. The agreement concerns the development of heritage and historical sites in Al-Ula governorate to promote the sustainable transformation of the governorate.
