Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor-Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has announced the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's donation of $ 500 million handed over to the United Nations to finance the United Nations' Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen for the year 2018. This came in Dr. Al Rabeeah's speech at the High-Level Pledging Event in Geneva for the Humanitarian Crisis in Yemen to support the humanitarian response in Yemen 2018, which was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Wassel, Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, Executive Director of Comprehensive Humanitarian Operations Support Center in Yemen Mohammed Al Jaber, and a number of officials. Dr. Al Rabeeah said, ''I am glad to announce today the donation by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounting to $ 500 million to finance the United Nations' Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen 2018 announced by the United Nations to support Yemen, and handed over to the United Nations, praising the partnership with all United Nation's organizations and international, regional, and local organizations, looking forward to a fast implementation and balanced presence in all Yemeni regions to alleviate the sufferings of the Yemeni People''. Dr. Al Rabeeah also expressed his appreciation to the Governments of Switzerland and Sweden for the initiative represented in their co-organization with the United Nations of the High-Level Pledging Event for the Humanitarian Crisis in Yemen to support the humanitarian response in Yemen 2018.
