Saudi Ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasel stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is committed to providing relief and development support for the brothers in Yemen. In a speech at the Human Rights Council, Ambassador Al-Wasel said that the coalition supporting the legitimacy in Yemen announced recently the launch of the comprehensive humanitarian operations plan in Yemen, adding that the coalition countries committed to provide $1.5 billion for the Yemeni people. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia deposited $2 billion in the Central Bank of Yemen in support of the Yemeni currency, he said. He pointed out that the Kingdom's support for Yemen during the past three years amounted to $11 billion.
