Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, Advisor-Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), met here today with the new United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen Lise Grande. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation and support mechanism of relief and humanitarian work in Yemen in addition to issues of mutual interest. Dr. Al-Rabeeah briefed Lise Grande on the relief and humanitarian works provided by KSrelief to the Yemeni people, including 203 relief and humanitarian projects in various relief sectors as well as the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Central Bank of Yemen with amount of $2 billion which saved the Yemeni economy from collapse. In a press statement, the new UN resident coordinator in Yemen said that she was happy to visit KSrelief, praising the projects carried out by the center in all areas of Yemen, which contributed to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
