Halat Ammar Crossing Customs Foils Attempt to Smuggle over 77,000 Captagon tablets

Halat Ammar crossing's customs foiled an attempt to smuggle 77,947 Captagon tablets, by hiding it in a vehicle heading for the Kingdom.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), General Director of the customs department of Halat Ammar Khalid Al-Rumaih explained that a vehicle was brought to the customs for the purpose of exportation, driven by a passenger.
"During a routinely customs procedures, the tablets were found hidden in the food baskets," he added, stressing that the relevant procedures were taken.
