Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development and Head of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the 62nd session of United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York Dr. Tamadher bint Yousef Al-Rammah has said that this session focusing on challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and empowering rural women and girls represents a good opportunity to shed light on the achievements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this field, whereas the Kingdom's vision 2030 is based on three main pillars: a vibrant society, a prosperous economy, and an ambitious homeland. This came at the High-level Meeting of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women here yesterday. Dr. Tamadher pointed out that the Kingdom's vision 2030 stated that, "Saudi women are important elements of the Kingdom's strength and we will continue to develop their talents, invest their capabilities and enable them to obtain appropriate opportunities to build their future and contribute to developing our society and economy."
