Saudi Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development Dr. Tamadher Al-Rammah has affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's experiences in empowering women in rural areas are pioneering, and the Kingdom's vision 2030 has put the development of women's talents and investment of their capabilities within its priorities aiming at empowering Saudi women to obtain appropriate opportunities to contribute to the development of the society and the economy, especially women in rural areas. This came during the fourth Ministerial Roundtable meeting held within the ministerial segment of the 62nd session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York City on "Good practices in empowering rural women and girls and promoting access to justice, social services and health care". Dr. Tamadher pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's vision 2030 has three important pillars including a prosperous economy, an ambitious nation and a vibrant society, affirming the empowerment of Saudi women and allowing them to look for opportunities and solve problems facing Saudi women at all levels.
