Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Al-Youm newspapers commented on the anti-corruption campaign in the Kingdom, saying that the campaign implemented by the State upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince at the end of last year, and before that the establishment of National Anti-Corruption Commission "Integrity" and the transparency of government performance including the state's budget and announcement of expenditures quarterly, all these regulations ensure non-exceeding limits and exploiting power. The papers pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' approval of establishing specialized departments for corruption cases in the Public Prosecution to investigate and prosecute corruption cases and directly linked to the Attorney General is considered a qualitative shift to address any exploitation of regulations and protect country's resources and public money.
