Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper in its editorial on Syria pointed out that Israel's military intervention in what could be called ''multilateral war'' in Syria was not surprising, adding that since the start of terrible massacres committed by Bashar al-Assad regime against the Syrian people and handing over the land and its resolution to Iran and its militias, there is no longer a red line or a reliable moral side to put an end to the Syrian crisis. The paper said that Israel is attacking Iranian targets in Syria, while Turkey continues to pursue Kurdish groups in the north of Syria at a time of escalating military operations between Assad gangs, on one hand, and the free army, on the other, while the world is waiting for more understanding between the United States and Russia on Syrian affairs. Al-Yaum newspaper wrote on the vital project in the province of Qatif including architectural features, multi-cultural and touristic services for citizens and visitors, indicating that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been paying a special attention to developmental, industrial and tourism projects in the Eastern Region in line with the Kingdom's vision 2030 and national transformation program 2020. Okaz newspaper in its editorial entitled ''International determination to uproot Da'esh'' pointed to the Kingdom's participation in the ministerial meeting of the international coalition against Da'esh held in Kuwait on Tuesday, saying that over the past years, the Kingdom has made contributions to combating Daesh and other subversive terrorist groups on two tracks including pre-emptive strikes on their cells on its territories and cooperation at regional and international levels with other countries to eradicate the scourge of terrorism. The paper highlighted that the Kingdom has become a model to be followed by others in combating terrorism, eradicating it and drying up its sources.
