Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz and Al-Youm newspapers commented on Al-Janadriyah, saying that Saudi citizens are flocking from all over the Kingdom in their traditional clothes in a cultural atmosphere that turns into a beacon as it is a diversification of their cultures under the unity of the Saudi State, noting in this regard the presence of the future alongside the past represented in Neom city that accepts only dreamers as expressed by HRH Crown Prince. On a local economic issue, Al-Riyadh newspaper in its editorial headlined "Indicators of Performance of Local Banks", saying that Fitch Ratings have already praised the Saudi banking system as the fourth strongest and best banking system in the world. The paper noted that Saudi banks registered the highest level of profits in their history during 2017 amounting to SR 43.7 billion compared to SR 40.4 billion in 2016, a growth rate by 8.2%.
