Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper in an editorial entitled 'The 'Kingdom and the new challenge'' wrote that the growth of the digital economy is one of most important indicators of countries in setting their feet on the world's future map which in itself is a shift in economic thought away from traditional tracks that flourished in the post-industrial revolution, noting that the Kingdom has been a forerunner for the future through several initiatives that culminated in Vision 2030 which is parameters that shape the Saudi economy away from oil revenues that have contributed for decades to driving the economy and building the country's infrastructure. Al-Youm newspaper commented on the youths who constitute more than 70% of the Kingdom's population, saying that the presence of a young prince, HRH Crown Prince at the top of the economic pyramid specifically indicates a vital vision of a different style, performance, and mechanisms of implementation among the high proportion of young people giving him a strong impetus to raise the pace of modernization based on his belief in the capabilities of the youth of his country and their ability to make changes, pointing to his saying that he is in a hurry to modernize his country for its bright and brilliant future between 2020 and 2030. Okaz newspaper in its editorial entitled ''The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and the challenges of the region'' said that in testing the complex challenges of the Middle East, no one transcends the two countries armed with strong relations and harmonious visions commensurate with the scales and risks of these challenges regionally and globally. It added that this historical deep-rooted relationship has been characterized by wisdom and joint actions on various issues and events.
