Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper commented in its editorial on Al-Janadriyah Festival for Culture and National Heritage due to be inaugurated on Wednesday by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in its 32nd session to be organized by the Ministry of National Guard and accompanied by the annual camel race and speech and artistic ceremonies, saying that this beautiful cultural event is a source of joy and a sense of humanity for those who have served the culture and the homeland and emphasizes the King's interest and care for the culture despite his great preoccupations which are not confined only to the local scene, but also to regional and global arenas. Al-Youm newspaper in its editorial entitled ''Historic partnership and safety valve'' wrote that relations between the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates have been historical and deep-rooted as the two countries represent a model for relations between countries and the safety valve for the region due to their impressive political weight, noting that they remain one of the most important shields to protect the region from strife, crises and unrest. It added that the unified strategy that brings together the two sisterly countries is part of their commitment to support the issues of the region, including the Yemeni crisis, and insist on the importance of restoring the legitimacy to it and defeating pro-Iranian Houthi coup militias and their agents.
