The work of the conference of the Palestinian donor parties began in Brussels today under the auspices of the European Union and participation of world and Arab countries and the High Commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA). The Kingdom's delegation was led by the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the European Union Ambassador Saad bin Mohammed Al-Arifi. The conference participants stressed the need to maintain the cohesion and unity of the international position on the Palestinian issue and move to re-correct the course towards negotiations and a two-state solution.
