Ministers of Education and Scientific Research in Arab States started at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo today their sixteenth conference entitled "Higher Education and the world of work and production, a new vision" organized by the General Secretariat of the Arab League, Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), and Arab Labor Organization with the participation of delegations from 17 Arab countries, and a number of Arab and international organizations. The delegation of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was headed by Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Assemi. The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs Dr. Hamad bin Nasser Al-Muharj and cultural attaché in the Saudi Embassy to the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Nami. The conference aims to identify the policies adopted in Arab countries to coordinate between institutions of higher education and labor and production sectors, and confront crises and challenges facing them.
