Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki is presented a memento during the inauguration of the 21st session of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) in Tunis, Saturday. — SPA TUNIS – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Saturday ordered the payment of $1 million as the Kingdom's contribution to completing the new building of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) in Tunis. This was announced by Dr. Khalid Al-Sabti, Deputy Minister of Education, who led the Kingdom's delegation to ALECSO General Conference which opened here earlier Saturday under the patronage of the Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki. ALECSO is a Tunis-based institution of the Arab League, established in accordance with Article 3 of the Arab Cultural Unity Charter by an announcement made in Cairo, Egypt, in 1970.
