Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment for Foreign Trade Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi received here today, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Manufacturing Ian Steff and accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom. During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for joint cooperation, promoting trade and investment, in several fields. The two sides reviewed preparations, underway, to hold the 6th meeting of the Saudi-American Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA). The meeting was attended by representatives of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), General Authority of Small and Medium Enterprises, King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) and Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers. It is worth mentioning that the volume of trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and the United States of America stood at SR142 billion, in 2016.
