President Abulfattah Al-Sisi of Egypt received at his presidential office the President of Tourism and National Heritage Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, here to take part in the 20th session of the Arab ministerial touristic council scheduled for Cairo tomorrow at an invitation of Egypt's minister of tourism. During the meeting, Prince Sultan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to President Al-Sisi, his government and people of Egypt. In turn, the president sent his greetings to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Prince Sultan bin Salman, who leads the Saudi delegation to the meeting, affirmed the strength of the historic ties binding the two countries and highlighted the common features shared between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt, in their capacity as two cradles of deep-rooted civilizations who have reputed contributions in constituting the human culture since ancient history with the two countries currently proceeding this role. "This is what stimulate us to take care of cultural projects and highlight them", he told the president. For his part, Bassam Radi, spokesperson of the Egyptian presidency, said in a statement following the meeting that President Al-Sisi confirmed the close relations between the two countries and peoples and underscored the importance of those relations at all levels in what contributes to enhancing the Arab solidarity in confronting the different challenges facing the Arab region. The meeting was attended by the Saudi ambassador to Egypt Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Gattan, who is also Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to the Arab League.
