The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by Knowledge Exchange and Communication Program, will organize a seminar entitled "Moral Approach and Promotion of Peaceful Coexistence" on Tuesday and Wednesday at the University of Wales in the United Kingdom.
The advisor of the Minister and supervisor of the program Dr. Abdullah Al-Luhaidan said that the two-day seminar will focus on the following topics including ethics, co-existence, theoretical identification, the role of knowledge exchange in promoting peaceful coexistence, Islam and West challenges and opportunities for peaceful coexistence.
The most prominent speakers are Michael Okten of the University of Wales, former Bosnian Mufti Mustafa Seric, Professor of Biography at King Saud University in Riyadh Dr. Adel Al-Shadi, Dr. Angus Slater of the University of Wales, Cartieron Robertson of Forum of Islamic-Christian Dialogue, And Dr. Yasser Babtain from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.
Dr. Al-Luhaidan stressed that the knowledge communication is one of the most important pillars of the introduction of civilizations and countries and it leads to communication and building bridges with individuals, groups, institutions, public and private institutions and international universities, stressing that the Kingdom enjoys a great weight and prestige at all regional and international levels, as it is the most important powers of moderation in the region.
Al-Luhaidan said that the Kingdom's presence in the fields of Islamic religious and cultural knowledge under the leadership seeks to expand the circle of moderation and at the same time narrowing the circles of extremism and extremism, noting that the Kingdom is the heart of the Islamic world.
It is noteworthy that the knowledge exchange program of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs is a specialized Islamic cultural program aimed at those interested in religious studies to promote cultural communication and extend bridges of understanding towards a meaningful knowledge exchange and at disseminating values and culture of peace among civilizations through continuous humanitarian process and intellectual and cultural movement, as well as clarifying the important role being played by the Kingdom to spread moderation, as the program organized more than 6 seminars during the past years in America, Europe and Asia.
