Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Under the title "fragile partnership", an indication to the weak coalition between the Houthis and deposed president Ali Abdullah Saleh to control Yemen contrary to the will of its people, Al-Riyadh newspaper said the partnership between the two parties of the coup in Sanaa, which has sent the people of the country to the brink of poverty, ignorance and illness, was used as a tool to carry out the agenda of Iran to reach its expansionist objectives in the region, regardless of the miseries the people of Yemen might face. The recent battles on Sanaa streets between the coup players as well as the demonstrations by Sanaa people chanting slogans against the regime for the first time in years once more prove that it was a fragile partnership, revealing that each party has used the other to reach what it thinks special goals, but in the end, they both fell in the arms of Iranian plan to destabilize Yemen as a prelude to attacking the rest of the region from behind. Given the current worsening living situation of the people of Yemen in Sanaa as well as the widening differences between the coup partners, we can surely say that the end of usurping the capital of Yemen is definitely in the offing. And that the situation is combustible at any moment. The days ahead will prove that the coup in Yemen was based on false assumption and that the legitimacy of rule, supported by the Arab Coalition Forces, will soon come to restore real Yemen to its people and rescue them from Iranian agenda. --More 11:39 LOCAL TIME 08:39 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1693772
