Yemeni Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh renewed accusation of the Houthi militia of exploiting the port of Hodeidah, in Western Yemen, giving to the Red Sea, to smuggle weapons. During a meeting with senior official, in the seaport city, he said that the Houthis exploited the port of Hodeidah and its resources as an important port of trade and wealth, at the expense of the needs of the sons of Hodeidah, in particular and the sons of Tehama, in general, as well as the whole Yemeni people, in the final analysis. The meeting pointed to the need for international supervision and surveillance to contribute to the non-exploitation of the port efforts, for trafficking of weapons and contrabands, monopoly of food and looting of humanitarian aid. The vice president praised the role played by the sons of Hodeidah, in the ranks of the national army and their record of defeating pro-coup militia on various fronts, including the Midi and Haradh fronts, stressing the keenness of the political leadership to exert relentless efforts, in addition to support of the brotherly coalition to complete liberation of the province and save children from the atrocities of the militias.
