Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) congratulated here today the people of the Kyrgyz Republic on the peaceful presidential elections held on Monday, throughout the country. Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, OIC Secretary General expressed satisfaction with the maturity and enthusiasm shown by voters, during polling process which was conducted in an organized, disciplined and peaceful manner. He praised the reform process witnessed by the electoral system, in Kyrgyzstan, including the introduction of modern technologies and adoption of electronic voting, which contributed to enhancing the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.
