The Supreme Committee of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's award for Environmental Management in the Islamic World has approved 17 candidates from 14 Islamic countries to win the Kingdom Environmental Management award in the Islamic World amounted to $ 280,000 . The award for the first winner of the best research branch is estimated at $ 40,000,where the winners will be honored at the opening ceremony of the 7th Islamic Conference of Environment Ministers, in the presence of 56 Islamic countries, on the 25th of this month at the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in Rabat. The President of the General Authority for Meteorology and Environment Protection (GAMEP) who is also the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Award Dr. Khalil bin Musleh Al-Thaqafi said that the recommendations of the jury committee consisting of 13 arbitrators from the Islamic world nominated the winners of the award after the evaluation process, noting that the award comes as part of the Kingdom's contribution to serving the Joint Islamic environmental work and strengthening the capabilities of individuals, governmental and private institutions and civil society to upgrade the efficiency of the environmental work.
