Chairman of the General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection Dr. Khalil bin Muslih Althagafi discussed during a here meeting today with representatives of the United Nations' Environment Programme, the mechanism for implementing a training plan to raise the efficiency and capabilities of the employees of the Authority. The plan included programs of practice in the most successful international aspects for each specialty and discipline of the environment, training sessions for employees through electronic network of the West Asian regional office in Bahrain, which awards certificates for passing trainees. During the meeting they also discussed importance of the review of audit work tasks and procedures for the environmental sector, in accordance with the United Nations Development Program.
