Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's approval has been issued to raise the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Award for Environmental Management from the level of the Arab world to the level of the Islamic world to include member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. This was announced by General President of Meteorology and Environmental Protection Dr. Abdulaziz bin Omar Al-Jasser during his chairmanship of the commencement of the third meeting of the Islamic Executive Environment Bureau and honoring of the winners of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Award for Environmental Management at its sixth session at the permanent headquarters of the ISESCO in the Moroccan capital Rabat today. The General President of Meteorology and Environmental Protection hailed the Kingdom's keen interest in environmental affairs and congratulated the winners. On the sidelines of the event, Saudi ambassador to Morocco Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Aljudaia in a statement to Saudi Press Agency highlighted the significance of the kingdom's award indicating the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques government on environmental issues.
