Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the terror attack which targeted yesterday a caravan affiliated to the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization in Mali MINUSMA, in which three were killed and five seriously injured. In a statement, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, Secretary General of the OIC confirmed the support of his organization for the efforts and initiatives aiming at continuing the activation of peace and reconciliation arrangement reached in Algeria recently, noting that Mali's stability as well as the region will remain tied to a great extent to the success of implementing this agreement. He expressed solidarity with the MINUSMA forces and Malian government in the fight against terrorism. He urged for chasing the criminals and bringing them to justice, offering condolences to the families of the victims and wishing the injured a quick recovery.
