The President of Cote d'Ivoire Al-Hasan Ouattara opened in the Ivory Coastal capital of Abidjan today the 44th session of the of Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation. In a key speech, President Ouattara focused on the necessity of cooperation of the organization's member countries on fighting terrorism, finding solutions to prevent the youths from being lured by extremists, and putting an economic, scientific and technological strategy within the organization. Given the podium, the Secretary General of OIC Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen said the organization would follow-up the resolutions issued by former summits and ministerial councils, citing those issues.
