Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) has announced to refer a recommendation to the Foreign Ministers of its Member States to suspend the participation of Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) in all OIC meetings and activities until President-elect Alassane Ouattara assumes its full responsibilities as head of state. In its communiqué issued by the OIC Executive Committee in the conclusion of its expanded emergency meeting held here at the level of delegates on the situation in Cote d'Ivoire, the OIC urged the outgoing President Laurent Gbagbo to respect the results of the elections and transfer power immediately to the President-elect Alassane Ouattara.
