Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum, Al-Riyadh and Al-Jazirah newspapers wrote about Qatar, saying that the President of United States of America Donald Trump talked about the need to tackle the financing of militants aggressively and named Qatar as an example, stressing that the punishment of Qatar is a positive action, and he said in an earlier statement, "Unfortunately, Qatar has historically financed terrorism at a very high level." The papers said that these statements give a clear indication to the full support from the countries of the world, led by the United States of America, for the measures taken against Qatar.
