Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper commented in its editorial entitled " Optimism over deepening of Saudi-US relations'', saying that Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir has expressed in recent statements the Kingdom's great optimism about the assumption of presidency by US President-elect Donald Trump for good and growing relations between the Kingdom and the United States of America. The paper noted that interests converge between the two countries on many tracks topped by the economic field, the defeat of terrorism, preventing the Iranian regime from exercising its aggressive policy in the region, and condemning the blatant Iranian interference in the internal affairs of the region's countries. --More
