Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum and Al-Riyadh newspapers commented on Qatar, saying that once again President Donald Trump of the United States of America thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and recognized the great efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve global security and stability, noting that President Trump described Riyadh summits attended by more than 50 Arab and Islamic leaders as "a unique gathering in the history of nations" and he recognizes that Arab and Islamic worlds are spearheads in any international project to combat terrorism for many reasons and the most important one is that Arabs and Muslims are the most affected people by terrorism in addition to the distortion of the tolerant Islam by extremists. For its part, Okaz newspaper wrote about Qatar, saying that all roads lead to Qatar being involved in supporting and funding terrorism as the truth can never be denied or ignored, indicating that there are a lot of evidences in this regard, and the recent one is the remarks by US President Trump who stressed that Doha has a long history of financing terrorism at a very high level.
