Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspapers wrote an article entitled "Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United States of America", saying that the Saudi-American relationship is a strategic one including all aspects of cooperation in various fields, pointing out that it is a historical relationship extending to seven decades full of events and have been positive and reflected in the development of these relations to broader and wider horizons. Al-Yaum newspaper wrote an article entitled "The Geneva talks and the impasse", saying that it is clear that the sixth round of indirect peace talks with Al-Assad's regime will not lead to certain results that would settle the crisis between the opposition and the regime, indicating that the regime is apparently trying to extend the talks to unlimited time so that it can practice shedding more blood of the Syrian people as evidenced by its continuing rejection of all peace terms between it and opposition factions.
