Saudi newspapers' editorials for today highlighted a number of current issues. In a local issue, Al-Bilad newspaper highlighted the importance of the national strategy for science and technology. On a regional issue, Al-Yaum newspaper commented on Iranian presidential elections saying that there is little hope that the Iranian regime will change its course. All other newspapers commented on Syrian developments including the U.S. decision to arm the Syrian opposition, reluctance of the international community to support the Syrian opposition, criticism of the policy of Secretary-General of Hezbollah and Syrian regime's inevitable collapse.
