The Foreign Ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States will hold their 143rd session of the Ministerial Council here on Wednesday with the participation of the GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani. Dr. Al-Zayani said that the GCC foreign ministers will discuss in their meeting the ongoing preparations for the consultative meeting of the GCC leaders scheduled for Riyadh, in addition to Gulf-US Summit and Arab-Islamic-US Summit to be hosted by Riyadh on May 21, 2017, during the visit of US President Donald Trump to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He added, "The ministers will discuss a number of reports on following up the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Council, reports submitted by ministerial committees and the GCC General Secretariat, topics related to strategic dialogues between the GCC countries and a number of countries and global blocs, in addition to latest regional and international developments, and ways to strengthen international efforts to combat terrorism.
