Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host Asia Energy Efficiency Conference and Expo (AEECE) from 30 October to 2 November 2017, in the presence of the ministers participating in the meetings of the round table of Asian Energy Ministers; Group of Twenty (G20) Energy Ministers and a large number of global companies. The conference, to be organized by Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources in cooperation with Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the World Energy Forum (IEF), aims to discuss the pressing issues of high energy consumption and enhance energy efficiency in key consumer sectors. The conference will highlight the Kingdom's efforts in the field of energy efficiency and its interest in reducing climate change in the world as part of international efforts in this field through scientific sessions and intensive workshops on the most international experiences in the field of rationalization of energy consumption and raising energy efficiency.
