Members of the Executive Council of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) voted here today, for endorsing a decision considering Israel as an occupation power, in Quds (Jerusalem) and urging it to cancel any measurement that would change the type or the status of the city. The wordings of the resolution, which was endorsed, disapproved all legal or administrative measurements and acts taken by the Israeli occupation, which have changed or seeks to change the type or the status of the city, adding that any actions of such a kind, is null and void, and should be, immediately, cancelled. The decision concluded by, namely, criticizing Israeli annexation of Eastern Quds, occupied in 1967, a step that is not recognized by the international community.
