Egyptian Prime Minister Eng. Sharif Ismail received here today Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, who is currently visiting Cairo for participation in the 12th session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest and ways of enhancing cooperation in the fields of energy and electricity. Following the meeting, Eng. Al-Faleh stressed that he conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince the Egyptian Prime Minister. He stressed the Saudi leadership's keenness on the Saudi-Egyptian relations to be strong and permanent as well as a main base for the stability in the Arab region. He confirmed that the economic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt are very strong and growing through trade exchange and level of participation of Egyptian human cadres in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at all stages of the economy. He pointed out that his meeting with the Egyptian Prime Minister dealt with a continuation of oil supplies in accordance with the agreement between Saudi Aramco and the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum, stressing that this agreement is going well and started with four shipments in last March. Eng. Al-Faleh confirmed that the agreement will be implemented as signed previously. He lauded a level of relations binding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt in various fields.
