The Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity held here today its 12th session at the headquarters of the Arab League under chairmanship of the State of Kuwait and with participation of the Arab electricity and energy ministries. In his speech during the session, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, stressed importance of enhancing the Arab joint action through the council, expressing pride regarding achievements made by the council, including the Arab electricity linkage and establishment of the Arab Common Electricity Market. Eng. Al-Faleh added that the Kingdom Vision 2030 will be an approach for the Kingdom's developmental and economic work, pointing out that the Kingdom seeks to variety of energy sources used in the production of electricity. He added that the Kingdom is an important center for industries and services relating to the sector of electricity. He considered this meeting as an extension of the historic and strong relations binding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
