King Khalid University (KKU) Dentistry School has won the first place in the "2017 AEEDC" Student Competition, hosted by the United Arab Emirates International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC). The Saudi team, which was made-up of five intern doctors, won the competition during its final rounds. More than 150 international dental colleges and universities participated in the student competition. The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shahrani said that KKU put on display several scientific posters and participated in a pavilion of the exhibition that reflected the university's active role in serving the Saudi society. Dr. Al-Shahrani congratulated the winners for leading the competitions. He also praised the participants for their persistence to succeed, and noted that the students benefited from previous expos over the past several years.
