Major General Mansour Al-Turki, Security Spokesman of the Interior Ministry, stated that the results of investigations of the two security operations implemented by the security authorities in Harazat and Naseem districts in Jeddah Province on last Saturday unveiled the identification of the terroists who blew themselves up in a den as Khalid Ghazi Hussain Al-Sarwani and Nadi Marzouq Al-Mudhaini Enazi, Saudi nationalities. He pointed out that the information of the security authorities about the terrorists stressed their involements in a number of terrorist crimes in the Kingdom and their association with a number of terrorist elements and detained persons. In a press conference held here today, Al-Turki said that Hosam Al-Johani, on a list of wanted for security authorities, was arrested in an apartment in Naseem district and rented a den in Harazat district as a shelter for the terrorists who disguised in women's clothes and were tansferred by Al-Johani from a site at Quraish street in Jeddah to the den. Al-Johani provided all requirements for the terroists. Al-Turki added that 16 persons, three of them are Saudis including Hosam Al-Johani and the rest are Pakistanis including a woman who was arrested in the apartment in Naseem, claiming that Al-Johani stressed that the woman was his wife based on his relationship with her brother who had the same terrorist thought. Major General Al-Turki added that the security authorities searching the site of the den in Harazat district found the following: (3) grenades, (8) explosive templates, six of them with shrapnel and two without, (48) bags containing chemical materials used in manufacturing explosive materials, (3) electronic balances, (2) metal cylindrical tubes, (10) domestically-manufactured explosive square metal devices, (2) adhesive metal explosives, one of them was equipped with explosive materials and magnets without detonator, (6) bags including metal pieces in large quantities that scutter into fragments when bombing, a collection of tools, electrical devices and medical needles for preparing explosive materials, a collection of electronic boards to manufacture booby-trapped bombs, (3) gas canisters, (2) machine guns, (1) pistol, (165) live bullets and (6) pistol shots. --More
