Interior Ministry Issues Statement Disclosing Results of Investigation regarding Two Persons Committed Suicide in Jeddah

The security spokesman of the Interior Ministry said that the investigations led to the following results:
First: The two persons who committed suicide in a den in Harazat district in Jeddah were Khalid Ghazi Hussain Al-Sarwani and Nadi Marzouq Al-Mudhaini Enazi, Saudi nationalities, due to the laboratory tests of the two bodies. The available information for the security authorities about the two persons are as follow:
1. Khaled Ghazi Hussain Al-Sarwani is a dangerous person wanted by security authorities for his various roles and multiple engagements with terrorist elements and incidents, including propaganda of the deviant thoughts on the internet, incitement to participate in the fighting in conflict areas, his response to instructions of Daesh terrorist organization abroad, his support for and assistance to perpetrators of the terrorist operation that targeted worshipers at a mosque of the Emergency Forces in Asir on 21/10/1436H, the suicide bomber who carried out the terrorist attack at Al-Mash-had Mosque in Najran on 13/01/1437H, and his association with Iqab Mejeb Al-Otaibi (detained person) who was arrested in Bisha Province on 24/07/1437H being involved in the killing of Brigadier/ Kitab Majid Al-Hammadi and other crimes. Al-Sarwani also provided a shelter for four terrorists in a den in Naaman Valley in Makkah, a theater of a security raid on the den on 28/07/1437H, killing the terrorists. Finally, he played a dangerous role in serving the deviant organization and its criminal plans through participating in manufacturing explosive belts and explosives in a laboratory in Harazat district.
2. Nadi Marzouq Al-Mudhaini Enazi, who has previously been convicted of several crimes, started his deviant activity with an Anti-Saudi media channel broadcasting from abroad. Then, he joined terrorists in conflict zones from where he was returned. After having served his punishment legally, he continued to accept instructions originating from deviant thoughts and his engagements in the terrorist activities with Iqab Mejeb Al-Otaibi (detained person), Sweilem Al-hadi Al-Rwaili who was arrested on 01/06/1437H, and Abdulmalik Al-Badi who was arrested on 06/08/1436H for his involvement in the killing of Private/ Majid Ayed Al-Ghamdi soldier at the Strategic Warehouse on 19/07/1436H.
Second: Sixteen persons, three Saudis and thirteen Pakistanis, are detained until now while the main detained person / Hossam Al-Johani stressed that he received instructions from Daesh terrorist organization to rent a den to provide shelter for the ready-to-suicide persons in Harazat District. Al-Johani transferred the terrorists who disguised in women's clothes to a site along Quraish Street in Jeddah Province. He provided all requirements for them, claiming, at the same time, that a woman accompanying him, Fatima Ramadhan Baluchi, was his wife through his relationship with her brother Abdulrahman Ramadhan Baluchi, now detained, who shares with him the same thoughts.
Third: Security authorities searching the site of explosion in Harazat district after fire was put down, found the following:
1- (3) grenades.
2- (8) explosive templates, six of them with shrapnel and two without.
3- (48) bags containing chemical materials used in manufacturing explosive materials.
4- (3) electronic balances.
5- (2) metal cylindrical tubes.
6- (10) domestically-manufactured explosive square metal devices.
7- (2) adhesive metal explosives, one of them was equipped with explosive materials and magnets without detonator.
8- (6) bags including metal pieces in large quantities that scutter into fragments when bombing.
9- A collection of tools, electrical devices and medical needles for preparing explosive materials.
10- A collection of electronic boards to manufacture booby-trapped bombs.
11- (3) gas canisters.
The security authorities also found:
1- (2) machine guns.
2- (1) pistol.
3- (165) live bullets.
4- (6) pistol shots.
The investigations are still continuing as the above-mentioned results confirmed the threat poised by this terrorist cell and its main role in manufacturing explosive belts and bombs in order to commit its heinous crimes within continuous endeavors of the terrorist organizations to target the security and stability of the Kingdom.
