Yemeni President Abdu Rabbo Mansur Hadi met, at the provisional capital, here today with the UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh, in the presence of the Yemeni Premier Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher, according to the state news agency. During the reception, Hadi stressed the significance of remarks made by the legitimate government over the UN sponsored draft road map, which was handed over to the envoy, in a previous visit to Aden, reaffirming that these remarks are crucial to put peace powertrain on the correct tracks, because the international community shares our belief that the Houthi and the putschists as well as their acts, do not indicate that they are giving priority to peace, as the lack peace-oriented thought and preferring bloody destructive behavior, that would translate, on the ground, external and intrusive intervention's agenda. For his part, Ould Cheikh expressed aspiration to realize peace, throughout Yemen, to best serve the Yemenis and spare blood, by setting up working committees, to mitigate tensions and assume delegated assignments, concluding by asserting international community keenness to bring about peace to Yemen, in accordance with the Gulf sponsored Initiative, National Dialogue outputs and relevant UN resolutions, including Resolution no. 2216.
