Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper commented on Saudi-Lebanese relations, noting that the Kingdom has played an active role in the Lebanese consensus that led to the selection of General Michel Aoun as president after a presidential vacuum lasted for almost two years, stressing that the Kingdom stands by Lebanon again to return as an active member to the Arab field. On the Yemeni affair, Al-Youm newspaper pointed out that the violations committed by militias of Al-Houthi and deposed Saleh against the recent truce reached 195 breaches, a matter that affirms the non-compliance of the putschists with any truce that will give opportunities for the political process to end the Yemeni crisis as they have done in the previous truces. --More
