Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Qattan, Saudi ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League, who is also dean of the Arab diplomatic corps, has visited Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch, at St. Mark Cathedral. During the visit, the Saudi ambassador conveyed condolences of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, to Pope Tawadros II on the victims of the terrorist bombing targeting St. Peter Church in Cairo. Ambassador Qattan stressed the Kingdom's denunciation and condemnation of this cowardly terrorist act, confirming the Kingdom's solidarity with Egypt and the Egyptian people against anyone who tries to undermine its security and stability.
