Bavaria late Wednesday confirmed that it had deported eight failed asylum seekers from Afghanistan, according to dpa. Eight Afgans from Bavaria were among a group of 34 rejected asylum seekers flown to Kabul, Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said in a statement. They left on a flight from Frankfurt airport, he added. Rejected Afghan asylum seekers from several other parts of Germany were also on the flight. Herrman rejected criticism of the deportations and said more failed asylum seekers would be sent back to Afghanistan.
