Islamabad-based Global Union for Ahl Al-Sunnah (followers of Prophet Mohammed's Sayings and Deeds) strongly denounced the airstrikes targeting innocent people in the Syrian city of Halab (Aleppo), supported by Iran. In a press release, Sheikh Professor Sajed Mir, the President of the union, who is also member of Pakistan's senate, said that the union strongly denounce the continuing offense on Halab, including killing of innocents, and deliberate demolition of its suburbs which is considered a flagrant foreign attack contradicting all international laws and humanitarian and legal principles. He said the union and Ahl Al-Hadeedth Central Association in Pakistan call on the world community to condemn the ugly crimes committed against the people of Halab and other Syrian cities using all embargoed weapons and demand the UN Security Council to immediately interfere to stop the aggression on Halab and lift the sufferings of Syrian people.
