Minister of Energy and Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid bin Abdul Aziz Al-Faleh met at his office here today with U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, and his accompanying delegation. At the outset of the meeting, Al-Faleh welcomed the Secretary of US energy, lauding the solid relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States at both the government and private sector, expressed belief that the relations between the two countries are expected to grow deeper and stronger, especially in the context of the Kingdom s' Vision 2030 and also thanked the U.S. Secretary of Enegy for his personal role in supporting the bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Al-Faleh stressed that the Kingdom is committed to the settlement and balance of the international oil market, and continues to meet the oil supplies to the world, including the United States. "In addition to the oil market, we are looking forward to discuss some of the key issues that we began to discuss since the meeting of the Group of 20 in June this year, including energy efficiency, energy policy, technology issues and climate ... this dialogue had been existed for 25 years, and is based on trust and understanding between our two countries", he added. On the other hand,the annual meeting of the Saudi-American Technical Cooperation Committee for energy affairs was held, headed by Minister of Energy Khalid Al-Falih, and US Secretary of Energy, where they dicussed a number of important issues. The meeting was attended by Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Adviser at the Ministry of Energy and Industry and Mineral Resources, and a number of officials.
