Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, met here today with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Theresa May, in Bahrain. During the meeting, the Bahraini Crown Prince highlighted the importance of Prime Minister May's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain and her attendance of the 37th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit as a guest of honor, a reflection of the long-standing and strategic ties between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, and the wider GCC Countries. The Crown Prince emphasized the shared commitment to further developing bilateral ties between Bahrain and the UK, which are celebrating their bicentenary this year. During the meeting, they discussed regional and international issues of common interest.
